About Me
My name is Ari and I am an integrative psychotherapist, facilitator and writer. I support individuals and couples to explore their cognitive, emotional, somatic and relational patterns and how these might be reweaved to allow for greater ease, creativity, joy and freedom.
My therapeutic approach is collaborative, compassionate and creative. I believe that when people have access to the right environmental and relational conditions they are able to access their innate capacity for healing, growth and transformation.
As a facilitator, I run workshops on grief, self-connection and self-compassion as well as co-regulation and communication practices for couples. I also work with Relationships Australia to facilitate healthy relationship and emotional intelligence programs for high school students.
On a personal level, I love reading and writing about psychology, philosophy, politics, systems thinking and deep ecology. I find nourishment through dance, creativity, human connection and through engaging in the more-than-human world. Most days, I am lucky enough to walk my dog along the Yarra River and to witness the wattle birds, fairy wrens and finches.
