Relationship Therapy

I have a passion for supporting people to explore, understand and transform relationship patterns and sexual intimacy issues. Our health, longevity, and overall wellbeing are inextricably linked to the health of our friendships, family, and intimate relationships.

It is painful yet common to feel that a partner is aggravating old emotional and relational wounds. Without a map and the right tools, this can lead to conflict, hurt, frustration and disconnection.

I support couples to navigate longstanding difficulties through cultivating tools for emotional regulation, conflict resolution, compassionate communication, and rituals to enhance friendship and intimacy.

I also help couples to understand their attachment styles and foster secure attachment to allow for greater safety, trust and fulfilment in their relationships.

I work with all couples and relationship configurations. I am passionate about supporting people in non-traditional relationship structures such as polyamory and people in queer relationships.

In-person and telehealth sessions available.

Individual Therapy

I support people who are struggling with anxiety, depression, high-sensitivity, grief, eco-grief, self-esteem, intimacy and relationship issues. I also work with people who are grappling with existential questions around death, purpose, meaning and identity.

I have an integrative and non-pathologising approach to working with individuals. I collaborate with each client to develop a therapeutic approach that is suited to their problems, goals, needs, temperament and interests.

I believe that paradigms which pathologise people on an individual level are far too reductionistic. When working with mental health, it is vital to recognise the pathology that is inherent within systems that prioritise profit, competition and consumption over connection and wellbeing.

We live within an economic system that fosters the conditions of stress, anxiety, burnout, depression, loneliness and alienation. So, when I sit with clients my starting point is never: What is wrong with you?

Instead, my starting point is: No wonder you are suffering within these alienating systems. You are not alone.
